Melodie Andrade Bishop
Melodie Bishop has a double Bachelor of Arts degree in
Music Performance Voice and
in Music Education from Anna Maria College in Paxton, Massachusetts.
She has studied Voice with both Miss Lily Kinas, and Peter Hart.
She has been taught using principals from the Oren Brown vocal method, the author of the "Singing
Bible" book "Discover Your Voice: How to Develop Healthy Voice Habits".
Melodie is a versatile performer
whose love for singing continues to take her on an incredible journey of discovery, fueling that passion even more every step
of the way! Melodie continues to expand
her performance career as well, and can be seen performing in the region on a regular basis. She has also been a Music
Educator teaching elementary music in both Massachusetts and Florida public schools.
Melodie has also been a worship leader and church music director and has
led Sunday morning church worship and directed adult and children's choirs in dramatic productions as a service to the
Lord.
Melodie has studied the
anatomy and mechanics of vocal production closely and is dedicated to teaching a vocal technique that will assure the student
learns to develop healthy singing habits which will promote the longevity of their singing careers. The voice is a VERY delicate
instrument, and it is very important to find a teacher who understands the physical aspects of vocal therapy from a scientific
perspective intertwining a knowledge of the voice with the gift of teaching and relating to their students in a way that makes
their journey through the study of their voice FUN and FRUITFUL! Melodie Bishop is that teacher, and you WILL
